GROESBECK, TX, March 26, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --Roger W. McNees, Instructor, Founder and President of Barrog, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of safety instruction.
Dr. McNees has 36 years of professional experience, 12 of which have been as president of Barrog, Inc. A specialist in the areas of human factors, and safety engineering and research, he is responsible for teaching work zone traffic control courses on an international level. In addition to managing his business, Dr. McNees is partial owner and CEO of a power plant in New York where he is tasked with overseeing the hydroelectric division and handling administrative duties. He notes that an aptitude for research has enabled him to pioneer innovative projects for his company, the results of which are implemented more than 50 percent of the time. He truly enjoys educating others, and considers making an impact on the transportation industry and maintaining compliance with safety standards to be the most gratifying aspects of his career.
Hard work, the support he receives from his peers and a desire to help others to excel are the driving forces behind Dr. McNees' success. In recognition of his accomplishments, he was selected as the Professional of the Year in Safety Instruction by Cambridge Who's Who in 2009. He earned his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1976, and is a member of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society, the Institute of Transportation Engineers, the Lone Star Chapter of the Family Motor Coach Association, and the North American Fishing Club. He is an avid supporter and volunteer for the 12th Man Foundation of Texas A&M University and aspires to make the transition to private consultancy in the future. Dr. McNees is the proud grandfather of three children.
