JK Harris Taps Bing to Drive Results in Mobile

    GOOSE CREEK, SC, April 17, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- JK Harris & Company, the nation's largest tax representation company, announced today the results of a case study resulting from a progressive partnership with Media Placement Group and the selection of Bing for mobile during the 2010 tax season.

JK Harris and Media Placement Group selected Bing for Mobile to develop a click to call search campaign centering on mobile focused keywords to drive calls and increase return on investment (ROI) prior to and during the 2010 tax season.

Mobile search on Bing is easy, which may have led to the success of the campaign. The user types a search term - such as "IRS help" - into the Bing mobile search box. Bing returns results along with a JK Harris ad and a click to call phone number for the tax representation firm, making the process of searching and contacting the company simple and painless.

"Bing for Mobile achieved a higher ROI than online search," said Ja'Nice West, Senior Online Media Buyer for Media Placement Group. "Mobile search accounted for ten percent of all campaign clicks while only making up 1% of the spend. And, Bing for Mobile was as competitive in call volume traffic as Yahoo mobile, but cost a fraction of what Yahoo does."

"Our overall click through rate increased by 23% from October 2009 to March 2010," said Graham. "I couldn't be more pleased with the success of this study. Bing for Mobile has successfully shown that JK Harris can increase its accessibility and reach with mobile web users, all at a reasonable cost."
