A total of 20 puppetry companies will put on shows around the city from April 30th to May 9th, with the venues so far confirmed to host the festival listed as the Teatro Alameda, Sala Cero, Sala La Fundicion, Alameda de Hercules and the Centro Civico Las Sirenas among others, all of which are within easy reach of Seville hotels.

There will be representation from many different countries such as the UK, Mexico and the Czech Republic, as well as domestic artists and the organisers expect up to 12,000 people to enjoy the spectacles.

Seville recently celebrated World Theatre Day by putting on 25 different performances in the city, showing the city's commitment to the arts.
