BERLIN, GERMANY, April 22, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jazz pop star Jamie Cullum will be playing live in Berlin as his world tour continues next month.
The diminutive singer and pianist is set to perform in venues across Japan, Australia, Spain, Portugal and Switzerland before arriving in the German capital on Monday May 31st.
He is due to showcase his talents at Berlin's Tempodrom venue, where the audience will be treated to songs from his latest album The Pursuit, as well as favourites from the back catalogue.
The 30-year-old musician's appearance in Germany is sure to prompt many fans to book accommodation in Berlin.
Cullum burst on to the UK music scene with his third album Twentysomething, which was released in 2003 and proved to be a winning mix of jazz standards, original materials and covers.
The album was released after the singer agreed a GBP1 million record deal with Universal, propelling him to stardom around the world.
He remains one of the most recognisable crossover stars of the jazz music scene in the UK and cemented his reputation with The Pursuit, which was released in November 2009.
Featuring the single I'm All Over It and a reworking of Rihanna's Don't Stop the Music, the record peaked at number 16 in the UK album chart.
Cullum's Berlin show begins at 19:00 local time and ticket prices range from EUR39.15 (GBP34) to EUR47.75.
Located five minutes away from Potsdamer Platz in the centre of the city, the Tempodrom is a multi-purpose arts venue that opened in 2001 to coincide with the European Film Awards.
In the main arena, the seating is arranged in a large circle to give every audience member the best possible view of the stage.
Other artists due to perform at the Tempodrom this year include Snow Patrol, Gotan Project, Jack Johnson, Willie Nelson and Status Quo.
To make the most of the Jamie Cullum concert, you should consider booking your hotel Berlin to avoid disappointment.
