Idaho State Department of Education Adopts Realityworks Programs

    EAU CLAIRE, WI, May 11, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Realityworks, Inc., developer of real-life, interactive educational products, recently received adoptions for a number of the firm's products by the Idaho State Department of Education. The adoptions mean that educators can use state curriculum funding to purchase and use Realityworks products across the state of Idaho.

Under the Idaho Department of Education's PTE-FACS programs, Realityworks technology was adopted for Parenting and Child Development classes in grades 9-12. The adoption paves the way for educators to use curriculum funding to incorporate Realityworks' RealCare Program, Basic Infant Care curriculum and the firm's patented infant simulator technology in classrooms across the state. In addition, the pregnancy simulation program used with Realityworks' Pregnancy Profile vest, and infant simulators show the effects of Shaken Baby Syndrome, Prenatal Drug Exposure, and Prenatal Alcohol Exposure on infants.

Another adoption targeting grades 6-8 Health classes was approved for Realityworks' ySTART tobacco use prevention program. The ySTART program is paired with the firm's proprietary Prevent PakTM simulators to teach middle school aged students the effects of tobacco addiction and help them build refusal skills.

Both adoptions are available to educators through December 2015.
