/24-7PressRelease/ - SCOTTSDALE, AZ, June 19, 2006 - The may be the best 2 minutes of television that you see this summer with Fourth of July celebrations and vacations still looming in the calendar.
Cherelynn Baker will be demonstrating what products to use and how to use them to keep your look fresh and beautiful while keeping the melting effects of the hot summer sun at bay.
Whether you want to maintain the beauty on the golf course, or keep the laid back look Hollywood pretty while vacationing, this is the news tip for you.
It's not what you wear, it's what you don't wear when it comes to summer makeup. No foundation is the secret. If you keep your skin moisturized, mask weekly, and keep a thin layer of self tanner on your face you will not need to wear foundation.
Enhance the healthy glow on the face with bronzer. Choose a bronzer that has an spf in it, then apply with a large powder brush all over the face, remembering to sweep it over the eyelid lightly.
Play up your eyes with jewel toned shadows, either powder or cremes. Here's a shopping hint, splurge on your skin care and save on your summer trend color. In the segment, a single shadow from Maybelline is used and it cost $2. If you are adding color that you don't normally wear, now is not the time to buy high end cosmetics because the chances of you wearing it daily or into the next season are slim.
Finish the look with a wet, juicy lip gloss and go for one with an spf in it to protect delicate lip skin.
All the cosmetic products in the segment were purchased at Target for just under $25.00.
That's a savings for jump starting the summer look and keeping it fresh from sweating off.
The final tip of the segment is, if you do get sweaty, do not wipe your face. Use tissue or rice papers to blot the moisture away.
