The 65-year-old star will be performing at the O2 World on Sunday July 4th, giving the German audience a chance to hear hits from his long and distinguished career.

Tickets for the O2 World show, which is set to get underway at 20:00 local time, range between EUR62.20 and EUR101.30 (GBP52.90 and GBP86.20).

Reviewing one of the singer's performances in the city of Edmonton last August, Canadian media group Canoe praised Stewart for delivering a "pure rock 'n' roll show".

Although noting that the power of his famous voice may have been slightly damaged by age, the news provider claimed the star continues to delight audiences with his "pure charm" and sense of fun.

It added: "The show featured most of the greatest hits fans expected to hear, each song featuring a special treat, showcase solo, costume change or joke of some kind."
