BILBAO, SPAIN, May 22, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Bilbao is due to host the second edition of IKAS Art in June, which could provide the perfect break from sightseeing for people interested in checking out work by the next generation of Spanish artists.
Set to take place from June 17th to 20th at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre, the event will also be showcasing work from other countries, but the focus will be mostly on graduates from establishments in the Basque country.
In addition to the opportunity to see what sort of art is being produced in universities currently, guests at hotels in Bilbao will also have the chance to take part in discussions and workshops at the venue.
The organisers explained that the central aim of the event is to give students and graduates a platform to display the fruits of their labour, but after the success of the first edition of IKAS Art in 2008 they have decided they can accomplish more.
As part of this ambition, the team behind the show has contacted 100 institutions in addition to the 14 that took part in the last event, with many extra activities planned as well.
Opening times and programme specifics have not yet been revealed, but there will be more details available closer to the time.
For more information on this event visit the IKAS Art website or contact the venue on +34 902 110 306.
To make the most of the IKAS Art - you should consider booking your hoteles en Bilbao to avoid disappointment.
