KOH SAMUI, THAILAND, May 25, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- People who have booked accommodation in Koh Samui during June should consider heading back to the mainland for at least one day towards the end of the month.
This is because from June 18th to 20th, the seaside town of Hua Hin will be hosting its annual Jazz Festival.
Visitors can look forward to seeing a wide range of jazz artists take to the stage during the three-day event.
Thailand has a strong jazz scene and the concerts give local talent an opportunity to shine in front of large audiences.
As well as the Thai musicians, international performers will also have a chance to step into the spotlight.
This year will see British band Shakatak, Danish musician Malene Mortensen and Brazilian ensemble Popsanova heading to the resort.
Entry to the Hua Hin Jazz Festival is free and there will be three stages set up on the beach and in the Phonkingphet Public Park.
Anyone staying in accommodation in Thailand who does not like early starts is in luck, with none of the shows starting before 15:30 (local time).
The music will continue long into the night, with the final acts delighting audiences until around 00:30.
Regular ferries run from Koh Samui to Surat Thani on the mainland, where travellers can board a train to take them to Hua Hin.
