MILAN, ITALY, June 05, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Travellers at accommodation in Milan looking to see some top international musicians in a new light could check out It's Not Only Rock'n'Roll, Baby! at the Triennale.
Running from June 24th to September 26th, the exhibition is aimed at revealing the artistic efforts of several musicians, such as a collage by Antony from Antony and the Johnsons.
Among the other famous faces who have their work displayed in this show are Bianca Casady from Coco Rosie, Devendra Banheart and Herman Dune.
There are plenty of items that music fans may have heard about or seen before, like the pictures drawn in blood by Libertines frontman Pete Docherty or the polaroids of Patti Smith, but some will be completely fresh.
It's Not Only Rock'n'Roll, Baby! was first showcased at the Bozar in Brussels in 2008, where it enjoyed great success.
"This is not about a movement, but about artists who have all followed individual roads, approaching art and music with an undivided soul," revealed the venue at the time.
Entrance to the exhibition costs EUR6 (GBP5) and the doors of the art space are open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:30 to 20:30 (local time), although on Thursdays and Fridays it shuts at the later time of 23:00.
For more information on this event visit the Triennale website or contact the venue on 02 724341.
To make the most of the It's Not Only Rock'n'Roll, Baby! - you should consider booking your hotel Milano to avoid disappointment.
