NAPLES, ITALY, June 09, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Art enthusiasts looking to have their attentions piqued by innovative creations could head down to the Project Room at Museum Madre in Naples to see Transit 4.
The venue is hosting the exhibition as part of a two-part project involving an art space on Thessaloniki.
It will appear in Museum Madre until September 13th and looks at the similarities between the Greek destination and the Italian city.
Visitors from accommodation in Naples may notice parallels between the two locations from the work displayed, according to the organisers.
They pointed out that both places are in strategically important positions geographically as well as politically and historically.
Transit 4 is the fourth and final edition of a series of shows that connect artists in Naples with Middle Eastern cities - the previous destinations having been Tel Aviv, Istanbul and Cairo.
"Starting from these visual elements Tibaldi organise a schedule that combines the various materials taken from the urban reality of the two cities to produce a single body, the final design of a path of conscious and lucid experience," revealed the venue.
The Museum Madre is open on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00 to 21:00 (local time) and at the weekends from 10:00 until midnight.
Entrance costs EUR7 (GBP5.80), but tourists should note that it is free to get in on Mondays.
This exhibition follows on from the art space's Urban Superstar show, which ends on June 14th.
For more information on this event visit the Museum Madre website or contact the venue on (+39) 081 193 13 016.
