The mission of the Stratos Jets' Approved Vendor Program is to ensure that every Stratos Jets vendor meets and exceeds with the strictest, most stringent standards in the industry. In order to become a member of this prestigious association, the Ohio-based operator had to demonstrate its compliance with Federal Aviation Administration and Department of Transportation regulations as well as Stratos Jets' own safety and maintenance standards. These requirements were established by Stratos Jets to ensure the safety and quality of every charter flight booked through the agency.

To become a Stratos Jets approved vendor, the aircraft operator was required to demonstrate its commitment to air charter safety by maintaining extremely high levels of aircraft insurance. These insurance standards require a minimum of $25 million insurance on all turboprop aircraft and $50 million on all other private jet aircraft. These very high levels of insurance demonstrate aircraft operators, commitment to leading aircraft maintenance and safety standards.

Stratos Jets newest vendor complied with these safety standards by maintaining $50 million of insurance on all three of their approved private jet aircraft. Included in the new vendor's fleet are two Beech King Air B200 turboprops and a Cessna Citation II light jet. The King Air turboprops can accommodate up to nine passengers over a range of 1,000 nautical miles and the Citation II can carry eight passengers over a range of 1,584 miles. These private jets are known for their versatility and can accomplish a variety of different air charter missions, including same day round trip charter flights from Cleveland, Ohio to Newark, New Jersey on a Citation II.
