LONDON, ENGLAND, June 16, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Anyone with an interest in gardening or who can appreciate a beautifully laid-out green space may be blown away by the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show just outside London.
Running from July 8th to 10th, the event is sure to see enthusiasts flock to London hotels from across the country and abroad, since it is such an established occasion in the gardening calendar.
It is a Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) festival that offers hints and tips on how to grow all sorts of plants - including fruit and vegetables - as well as displaying gorgeously arranged gardens.
"This RHS spectacle is the largest of its kind in the world and for six days in July, thousands of gardening fans can see, smell and touch an abundance of floral delights," remarked VisitLondon.
Prizes will be handed out at the event for the best exhibitors and attendees can get their own souvenirs from the event, which could be anything from a packet of seeds to a garden-inspired art piece.
Another recent event organised by the RHS that proves to be popular every year is the Chelsea Flower Show, which took place from May 25th to 29th.
The event is open to the public from 10:00 BST from July 8th to 11th, with the venue closing at 19:30 from Thursday to Saturday and at the earlier time of 17:30 on the Sunday.
Tickets start from GBP19 and can be bought online.
