Andre M Boisvert Joins River Logic as an Advisor and Board Member

Boisvert started his career with IBM in 1976 where he spent 13 years. While at IBM, he held senior management positions in sales, marketing, and Research & Development. After leaving IBM, he held executive positions at Cognos Corporation and Oracle Corporation where he was Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing and a member of Oracle's Management committee.

In 2000, Boisvert was recruited as President and COO of SAS Institute and tasked with the mission of taking the company public. When the plans for an IPO were abandoned, he followed one of SAS' investments and became Chairman and CEO of Sagent Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: SGNT). In April of 2004, Boisvert successfully completed the sale of Sagent Technologies to Group 1 Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:GSOF).

From March 2002 to December 2006, Boisvert served as a director of VA Software (NASDAQ:LNUX), the creator and owner of SourceForge, the largest worldwide repository of open source projects. During his term at VA Software, he developed a wealth of knowledge about open source projects and their applicability to solving real world problems, which previously had been exclusively addressed through expensive proprietary software.

This experience led Boisvert to co-founding Pentaho Corporation in October of 2004. Later he went on to invest and serve as an advisor/director of several other leading commercial open source companies, Compiere, Inc. (ERP & CRM), Zenoss, Inc. (systems management), and Infobright (data warehousing).

Boisvet is also Chairman of Palamida Corporation, the leader in Software Composition Analysis for intellectual property & security risk management, and Chairman of UBmatrix Inc., the creator of XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language). Additionally, he is a director of Swiss-based Odyssey Financial Technologies, Inc., which makes software for the private banking and wealth management industry.
