WYNNEWOOD, OK, June 17, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Joe Schreibvogel of the G.W. Exotic Animal Park sets his goals high, as he enters a contest to win his own talk show with Oprah Winfrey.
Mr. Schreibvogel says if he can win this contest giving him the opportunity to have his own show it would be "a big win for the working people of America along with the animals worldwide. Today if you watch a talk show it's all about celebrities, people who murder others or something that has nothing to do with the everyday working person," says Mr. Schreibvogel. "I want to do this to get a voice out for the people of America who work hard and know what is really going on in our country because the politicians have no idea. We must save our animals from being forced into unwanted homes and locked in over-crowded sanctuaries just because we want to pass laws that duplicate laws that already exist. Just because you have an exotic animal as a pet does not make you a danger or irresponsible. There are some irresponsible people out there, but they are not just animal owners, so why are we punishing everyone?"
The contest is sponsored by Kohls and anyone can vote. The video audition for Joseph Schreibvogel (the animals' spokesperson) can be viewed and voted on at http://myown.oprah.com/audition/index.html?request=video_details&response_id=10603&promo_id=1.
