SANTA BARBARA, CA, June 19, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Recent developments concerning the popular drink, Kombucha, has caused its removal from the shelves of the Whole Foods Markets nationally. Kombucha, a popular fermented, sweetened tea beverage sold in natural food stores nationwide, is being removed from the Whole Foods Market store chains because of concerns over elevated alcohol levels in the beverage. Other health food stores nationwide will also be removing the beverages from their inventory.
Bragg Live Foods Products, recognized as the industry leader in the manufacture of Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, recently introduced the Bragg Organic Apple Cider Vinegar Drink line of ready-to-drink beverages, an alcohol-free, Kombucha-like health beverage made with organic ingredients, including Bragg's Organic Apple Cider Vinegar.
