The Training Doctor Congratulates Bi-Annual Scholarship Winner: Laurie Klinger!

    BRISTOL, CT, July 01, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Training Doctor kicked off its 20th Anniversary celebration by running a trivia contest via Twitter. Every other day, in the month of June, a trivia question about the Training Doctor's "history" was posted, and Twitter followers competed to be the first to supply the correct answer. Winners were awarded flash drives, external hard drives, rolling computer cases and more! As the weeks went on, the questions became harder and the prizes became larger.

"The trivia contest was great fun for us," said company founder, Dr. Nanette Miner. "It was interesting for us to see how far we've come in our own organization, as well as in the field of training itself. When we first started in business, overhead transparencies were cutting edge!"

In addition to the anniversary celebration, Laurie Klinger, of Whittier, CA, is The Training Doctor's most recent recipient of a $500 educational scholarship to be used toward the pursuit of an advanced degree in training or organization development. To date, The Training Doctor has awarded over $4500 in scholarships to adult learners throughout the United States. The scholarship is awarded in July and December each year.
