Burg Simpson Shareholder Appointed to Arapahoe County Bar Association Board of Directors

    GOLDEN, CO, July 02, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Burg Simpson Eldredge Hersh & Jardine, P.C., is delighted to announce that shareholder David Hersh has been appointed to the Board of Directors for the Arapahoe County Bar Association. Mr. Hersh has also been selected to chair the association's Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Committee. As Chairman of the CLE Committee, it will be Mr. Hersh's responsibility to oversee preparation and delivery of educational programs designed to promote competence and professionalism among the organization's membership. Both roles are for a one-year term.

Speaking of his appointment Mr. Hersh said, "I am honored that my fellow members have seen fit to appoint me to the Board of Directors. There are many challenges facing the legal profession nationally and in Colorado. I intend to work closely with my fellow directors and the CLE Committee to promote Arapahoe County as not only a center for legal excellence but a unique place to practice law."

Earlier this month, Mr. Hersh was elected as Chair of the Membership Development Committee for the Colorado Judicial Institute (CJI).
