Four Pardee Homes Neighborhoods Nominated for Consumers Choice Awards; Voting Participants Elgible to Win a Wii and Other Prizes from the Building Industry Association of Southern California

    SAN DIEGO, CA, July 09, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Southern California homebuilding industry is giving new home shoppers and buyers a chance to vote for their favorite community from among 21 nominees, including four from Pardee Homes; two of which are located in the Inland Empire. Part of the SoCal Awards, the industry's celebration of marketing excellence, Consumers Choice offers the public the opportunity to cast a vote at one of the participating communities. Participants will be eligible to win the grand prize, a Wii gaming package featuring "The Beatles: Rock Band" and gift cards from Target and Lowes.

Consumers Choice Awards for Community of the Year will honor the top vote getters in each of four regions - San Diego, LA/Ventura, Orange County and the Inland Empire. Prospective voters can visit these areas and cast their vote in special ballot boxes at the respective model home centers. Voting is underway and runs through August 31, with winners to be announced when all votes have been tabulated.

Pardee Homes has two nominated neighborhoods in the Consumers Choice program in the San Diego Area: Terramar in Torrey Highlands and Highlands Village in master-planned Carmel Country Highlands. Both are located in north San Diego County off SR 56. Also nominated are two Pardee neighborhoods in the Inland Empire: LivingSmart Homes at Canyon Hills in Lake Elsinore and LivingSmart Homes at Tournament Hills in Beaumont.

In Torrey Highlands, Terramar is the Consumers Choice nominee.
