BILBAO, SPAIN, July 23, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Travellers can check out smart satire To Be or Not To Be this summer at Bilbao's Euskalduna venue.
Hotel Bilbao guests will be able to see this anti-Nazi production at the prestigious Basque arts and business centre until September 5th.
The show is an adaptation of Ernst Lubitsch's film of the same name and it constantly tips its hat to that flick by using projected footage from it.
It has been adapted by Julio Salvatierra and directed by Alvaro Lavin, with Amparo Larranaga taking on the lead role.
She is joined by celebrated Spanish thespians such as Jose Luis Gil, Carlos Chamarro and Alfonso Torregrosa among others.
The organisers claimed that the way the production has been put together will make the audience feel like they are watching a film.
Describing the performance, they said: "A courageous and high-level comedy that unfolds at a very agile pace and brims over with humour and delivers a sharp satire on totalitarian regimes."
Among the other plays taking place at the venue is one-man show The Caveman, which has been adapted from Rob Becker's original script.
Tickets start from EUR25 (GBP21) and can be purchases online.
