ADELAIDE, AUSTRALIA, July 23, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Holden Netball Test Series between Australia, Jamaica and New Zealand will see some high-calibre sporting action come to Adelaide next month.
Set to take place on August 29th 2010 at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, the day will feature a packed programme of activity, with the hosts taking on the Sunshine Girls of Jamaica in three matches.
Following these clashes, Australia will then take on their arch-rivals - New Zealand's Silver Ferns - in what is sure to be a close-fought encounter.
Any match-up between the Kiwis and the Aussies should be worth the entrance fee on its own, but the event takes on even greater significance given that it is the last opportunity for fans to see their teams in action ahead of the all-important Commonwealth Games in Delhi this October.
New Zealand won the 2006 Commonwealth netball gold, with Australia finishing in second, so the victor in this encounter could deal an important psychological blow to their opponents.
Sports fans staying at some of the cheap hotels Adelaide has to offer can get their hands on tickets for the event for A$60, with children getting in for A$36.
However, these have been on sale since April, so anyone who wants to attend should move fast to reserve their seats as soon as possible.
For more information on this event, visit the Adelaide Entertainment Centre website or contact the organiser on (+61) 8 8208 2222.
