BERLIN, GERMANY, July 23, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Queens of the Stone Age are gearing up to play an outdoor gig at the Zitadelle in Berlin towards the end of next month.
The California rock gods, who formed back in 1997, will be coming to the German capital on August 24th 2010 with a show that promises to be a must-see occasion for anyone staying at Berlin hotels.
Fronted by Josh Homme, the Queens are no strangers to playing in outdoor settings, having appeared on the bill of a string of major festivals throughout Europe in the past.
Their schedule for next month sees them calling at the Lowlands Festival in the Netherlands, Rock en Seine in Paris and Reading & Leeds Festival in the UK, as well as the Berlin date.
Anyone who is lucky enough to get their hands on tickets for the gig will be hoping the band play some of their biggest hits, including the likes of Sick, Sick, Sick and 3s & 7s from their most recent album Era Vulgaris.
Other crowd-pleasing tracks include Little Sister, Feel Good Hit of the Summer and No One Knows.
Ticket prices start at EUR37.25 (GBP31.60) and the doors of the Zitadelle will be open from 17:00 local time, with the gig expected to kick off at 18:00.
