LONDON, ENGLAND, July 31, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- A new London exhibition called When I Am Big looks at the hopes and dreams that some key figures had when they were younger and displays these revelations in a selection of photographs.
Running from August 13th to 27th 2010 at the Material Gallery, the show is a collaboration between designer Kamilla Weinhardt and photographer Emilie Fjola Sandy.
It began in February 2009 and aims to show off people's childhood dreams in a light-hearted way, while at the same time making some interesting revelations about the subject.
Most of those who took part work behind the scenes in the creative sector, which is why the names of Hafdis Huld, Jasper Goodall, Krista Nyberg, Andrew Bloch and all the others may not be too familiar to the general public.
However, this does not stop this display being a fascinating experience for art enthusiasts looking for an interesting show to head to from their hotels in London.
"The photographic exhibition provides an original insight into the lives of some of the most successful creatives of the British scene," explained the organisers.
Opening hours for the Material Gallery - which can be found on Carnaby Street - are from 11:00 to 19:00 BST between Monday and Saturday, as well as 12:00 to 18:00 on Sunday.
