LONDON, ENGLAND, August 04, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- A whole host of major names on the comedy circuit will be hitting the stage in London when the Greenwich Comedy Festival kicks off later this summer.
Running from September 6th to 12th, there will be a fantastic variety of comic styles at the event, with performers as diverse as Bill Bailey, Ed Byrne, Phill Jupitus, Jenny Eclair, Tom Green and Adam Buxton - who is playing on Sunday September 12th - all on the bill.
There will be plenty to do besides enjoy the fantastic comedy on show for people staying in one of the cheap hotels London has to offer, with bars, dining areas and all sorts of entertainment going on at the venue.
Other famous names confirmed to appear at the event are Arthur Smith, Howard Marks, Rhona Cameron, Jerry Sadowitz, Reginald D Hunter, Sean Hughes and Rufus Hound.
The doors open at 18:00 BST on weekdays, while the venue will begin letting people in at about 14:00 at the weekend. The Old Royal Naval College closes at midnight every night, except Friday and Saturday, when it does not shut until 01:00.
Tickets for the festival are available online and vary depending on which performer is taking to the stage at the time.
