TENBY, ENGLAND, August 10, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Many of the most popular hotels Tenby has to offer are a short distance away from the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
A popular location with walkers and wildlife enthusiasts, the area is one of three national parks in Wales and home to some famously spectacular stretches of coastline.
For people who enjoy gentle exercise during their holidays, the national park authority is set to hold an Autumnal Exploration walk on Friday September 10th.
Starting from the village of Manorbier - situated about five miles to the south-west of Tenby - this leisurely two-mile stroll should provide plenty of opportunities to explore the area.
Popular attractions in Manorbier include its unspoilt beach and the 12th century Norman castle, which has appeared in BBC drama programmes and the 2003 film I Capture the Castle.
Tickets are priced at GBP3.50 and walkers are advised to make the most of the stunning views by taking a pair of binoculars with them.
Although some sloping ground is included, the route is generally easy going and families are encouraged to take part.
The national park covers 240 sq m around the south-western shore of Wales and is home to a variety of rare birds and other animals.
