GOLD COAST, AUSTRALIA, August 26, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The MBA Partnership's Charity Golf Day gives avid sports enthusiasts the opportunity to take to the course in support of a good cause.
Taking place at Lakelands Golf Club - just a short distance from many Gold Coast hotels - on October 1st 2010, the event is being held in support of charitable organisation Guide Dogs Queensland.
Over the past five years, the MBA Partnership has donated more than A$130,000 to the body by putting on a number of fundraising events.
Business travellers and holidaymakers who head out from their Surfers Paradise hotels to attend the Charity Golf Day can compete in teams of four against the other entrants.
Prior to stepping up to the first tee, participants can take advantage of a golf clinic from former world top ten player Rodger Davis, who won seven European Tour events throughout his professional career.
Following the packed afternoon on the Jack Nicklaus-designed Lakelands course, attendees can celebrate with dinner, a prize-giving ceremony and an auction featuring items of celebrity memorabilia.
"We hope our 2010 event will be the biggest and best yet," commented MBA Partnership director Paul Murphy.
It costs A$1,000 for a team of four players to register for the Charity Golf Day.
