LONDON, ENGLAND, September 01, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Fans of John Barrowman may wish to book tickets to his upcoming London show at the Royal Albert Hall.
The lively television personality has starred in several programmes, from fantasy series Torchwood - in which he played the lead role of Captain Jack Harkness - to prime time entertainment such as Tonight's the Night.
He will be gracing the stage at the Royal Albert Hall on Monday October 4th 2010, with the performer sure to play some songs from his most recent self-titled album, as well as plenty of other tunes from his previous two long-play records.
The popularity of Barrowman is evidenced by the fact that he has published two autobiographies since January 2008, with the first one reaching number two in the Sunday Times best sellers list.
Although he has a strong American accent, the singer was actually born in Glasgow, but moved to the states when he was still young.
Barrowman is described as an entertainer "with a capital E" by the biographer on his official website, with the author explaining: "He sings, he dances, he acts, he presents, he judges - he is a unique talent in the British entertainment industry."
Fans staying at some of the cheap hotels London has to offer will need to pay upwards of GBP22.50 for tickets to this concert, with the show kicking off at 19:30 BST.
For more information on this event visit the Royal Albert Hall website or contact the venue on +44 (0)20 7589 8212.
