LEAWOOD, KS, September 16, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The sixth annual T3 Technology Tools for Today Conference will be held at the Grand Hyatt Bonaventure Hotel in Weston, FL (Fort Lauderdale) February 16-19th, 2011. Conference producers, industry influentials David Drucker and Joel Bruckenstein, have opened registration and announced the preliminary agenda.
"As we approach the 2011 conference, we are getting very excited about what we'll all be able to learn in the exhibit hall and conference sessions," said Dave Drucker, co-producer of the conference. "This is our sixth T3 Conference and I have to say the speakers and session topics just keep getting better and better. In addition, the hallway conversations with industry thought leaders and hundreds of accomplished financial advisor peers are always a high point."
"This is an important year for financial advisors to attend," said conference co-producer Joel Bruckenstein. "Hardware and software is changing as we speak, and so many solutions are moving to the clouds. We're in a new market cycle and advisors who want to optimize their businesses must stay abreast of the latest and greatest. There are new collaborative tools out there - and many new technologies that are in the experimental stage. We'll be talking about the many exciting options available to advisors and how to apply those tools to build a more efficient and profitable practice."
Agenda highlights according to Drucker and Bruckenstein include:
- Morningstar, a perennial favorite, has unveiled a new newsletter building solution, details and demo available at their booth
- ePostal, a new exhibitor this year, will demo their secure encrypted email service
- Big Brain Works will demo Grendel, their flagship application (modules include CRM, compliant paperless office, account aggregation, client access, practice management tools, and more)
- Custodial technologies will be in the foreground - Project C from Schwab, Wealth Cen-tral from Fidelity, Portfolio Director from Scottrade, and Pershing's additions to their platform, etc.
- FinFolio has rolled out a new portfolio management application - its been in development a couple years now but they are just now starting to talk about it
- Trade PMR, a company that provides brokerage and custody services for registered in-vestment advisors, has some interesting things to say
- Virtual Resources, a company that builds "private clouds" for advisory firms and a new exhibitor this year, will be talking about how they can take an advisor completely online so that the advisor can compute remotely from any location
"There's a new revolution taking place," Bruckenstein said. "It affects the way advisors provision technology for their firms. It should affect the whole way they envision and build their office. This is the only national industry conference focused solely on financial advisory firms and technology. It's a great use of time and money, and perfectly compliments all the trends and new solutions we cover in our monthly T3 Newsletter."
"We're also happy to roll out our new, improved website," Drucker said. "Visitors will find a new look with a more intuitive interface, including information about both the T3 Conference and the T3 Newsletter."
