With 15 years of professional experience, John Alan Zolck is recognized for his expertise in program and project management. In 2007, he brought his talents to Novellus Systems, one of the world's leading semiconductor equipment companies. In the capacity of business process excellence manager, he is responsible for overseeing central project management, conducting training, investigations and audits, and maintaining equipment. Prior to assuming his current position, Mr. Zolck honed his skills at ASML Holding N.V., Western Servo Design, Inc., and the Silicon Valley Group, Inc. He considers working on the cost of quality and product order fulfillment programs at Novellus and introducing new products at ASML Holding N.V. to be among the highlights of his career. He attributes his success to his hands-on approach, experience, and problem-solving skills.
Mr. Zolck earned his master of business administration, with a concentration in marketing, in 2004 from California State University, East Bay and his bachelor of science in industrial engineering, with a concentration in operations research, in 1995 from the University of California, Berkeley. He also completed coursework in international business studies. In 2009, Mr. Zolck became a certified manager of quality and organizational excellence through the American Society for Quality. He maintains active affiliation with the ASQ and the American Sailing Association.
