/24-7PressRelease/ - HOUSTON, TX, August 18, 2006 - KBC Process Technology Ltd. (KBC) announces the recent award of a multi-year contract by Rompetrol Rafinare SA. (Rompetrol).
The contract covers the provision of a technical service partnership for the Petromidia Refinery over an initial three year period. This partnership provides for KBC to proactively support the technical, operations, and planning aspects of the refinery's business through a program of specific profit improvement initiatives and ongoing technical support. And, Rompetrol will have access to KBC's proprietary simulation software, including Petro-SIM , and the KBC SIM Suite of process unit models.
