PARIS, FRANCE, October 05, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- A play by Philippe Quesne called Big Bang is being performed in Paris this autumn and could offer a beautiful slice of artistic culture for tourists holidaying in the French capital.
The city's Centre Pompidou is the venue for this piece, which is staged by Quesne and the Vivarium Studio - a partnership that has previously produced theatrical compositions such as La Melancolie des Dragons.
Guests at Paris hotels who manage to get tickets for this show will be treated to a series of short plays that investigate how we see the world around us.
It will be staged from November 3rd to 7th at the celebrated arts complex.
"Through elegant tableaux, meaningful gestures and with few words, the protagonists create anatomical studies of a human microcosm transplanted into an unexpected landscape," commented online resource Contemporary Performance.
It explained that the story follows six people who wash up on a deserted island and proceed to make up their own versions of the history of the world.
Admission is EUR14 (GBP12) and the performance begins at 20:30 local time.
While people are at the Centre Pompidou they could think about visiting the building's museum area, which is open from 11:00 to 21:00 every day except Tuesdays and features a range of famous artwork.
For more information on this event visit the Centre Pompidou website or contact the venue on +33 (0)1 44 78 12 33.
