This self-titled debut is the product of years spent studying, writing, rehearsing and performing concerts all over New York City, where the duo have established themselves among the city's burgeoning independent-classical scene.

In their live performances, the duo pay tribute to the groundbreaking works of their predecessors by reinterpreting composers who have pioneered new bodies of literature that expand the language of the flute. Performing these works alongside their own creations, Flutronix utilize an innovative combination of flute and mixed media elements. Their original compositions comfortably navigate daring forms of popular, experimental, and contemporary classical music while implementing electronics and digital effects.
