MUNICH, GERMANY, October 24, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rapper and actor Plan B is set to arrive in Munich for a show at the Freiheiz next month.
One of the UK music scene's biggest rising stars, the east London-born artist enjoyed a number one album with his second studio effort, The Defamation of Strickland Banks, earlier this year.
While his 2006 debut album primarily focused on rap-based sounds, the new record provides a greater showcase for Plan B's singing ability, winning him a host of new fans in the process.
The 27-year-old artist - real name Ben Drew - has been a ubiquitous presence on the UK singles chart this year with hits such as Stay Too Long and She Said.
People heading out from their Munich hotels to see him perform on Monday November 22nd may also be fans of his film career, which has including acclaimed roles in Adulthood and Harry Brown.
Drew is currently working on his directorial debut Ill Manors, another gritty tale of inner city London life starring fellow British actor Riz Ahmed.
However, the upcoming show in Munich will provide Plan B with an opportunity to focus on his musical output, with recent single The Recluse expected to feature in the set.
Fans may also be looking forward to hearing some of his older material, such as debut single Kidz and Sick 2 Def from his debut album Who Needs Actions When You Got Words.
Tickets for Plan B's performance are priced at EUR25.75 (GBP22.80) and the show is due to begin at 20:30 local time. Doors will open from 19:30.
The Munich concert will be his fourth appearance in Germany on The Defamation of Strickland Banks Tour next month, following gigs in Cologne, Hamburg and Berlin.
