Additionally, the POV.HD is backed up with exceptional durability, as it is dust proof, shock proof and can handle up to 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes.

With a list of inclusions, driven by user feedback, the recording unit features a nice, big 2" LCD screen, enabling you to review footage while in the field in addition to editing video and making exposure control adjustments. The video recorder, powered by the new Da Vinci DM368 from Texas Instruments, supports real-time video, while enhancing image quality - producing stunning, sharp 1080p video. Equipped with controls that allow you to tag only the best footage, the POV.HD allows you to single out the good, making editing easier when you are back at the computer.

Spanning the entire scene with a super wide 142 degree lens, the POV.HD provides you with the widest angle of view on the market for 1080p video at 30fps. Also sporting a 720p setting at 60fps, the field of view narrows to 95 degree - still wide enough for all the action, but with less of a fish eye quality. The feather-light Camera Head is equipped with a high-quality 6-element glass lens and a native 1080p CMOS sensor designed specifically to produce optimal-quality, true HD video.
