LONDON, ENGLAND, November 07, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- A new collection of artefacts relating to the Titanic is going on display at the O2, which is sure to attract plenty of tourists from whichever hotel in London they are staying at.
The exhibition will be on show from November 5th 2010 until May 1st 2011 at the music and arts venue, with visitors able to get a better idea of what it would have been like to be on the ill-fated ship.
As well as a reconstruction of the cabins, there will be all sorts of documentary evidence of how the 1912 disaster was received by the British media and the international public.
One unusual part of the display is an iceberg wall, which will give attendees from nearby accommodation such as The Bloomsbury Hotel London an idea of how cold it would have been on the night the ship sank.
The organisers remarked: "Travel back in time with compelling stories, historically accurate room recreations and more than 300 authentic artefacts recovered on our seven research expeditions since the ship's discovery in 1985."
Tickets cost between GBP13 and GBP15, with the building opening between 11:00 and 19:30 GMT from Sundays to Wednesdays and 11:00 to 21:00 from Thursdays to Saturdays.
For more information on this event visit the O2 website or contact the venue on +44 (0)20 7536 2600.
