Z-Discovery, along with the Zafesoft subscription solution, discovers and classifies sensitive information in files across the enterprise in over 1,100 files formats on hard drives, networks, and systems. In this way the organization not only becomes aware of where its sensitive information is across its network they can also secure it with the integrated 'zafe' functionality.

Z-Discovery allows information security officers to address the Enterprise Risk that organizations face due to the accidental or intentional loss of sensitive data, such a patient/financial information, reports generated from the patient/financial database. The solution discovers existing sensitive information lying around on computers, servers and networks inside the organization. It then classifies it and appropriately secures it by 'zafing' those files, wherever it found them.

The solution continues to discover and zafe sensitive information as it is generated and placed on the local or network machines. In this way, it secures historical and future information for the enterprise.

The best part is that existing employees and valid third party users see no change in the way they interact with this 'zafed' information.
