FOURTEEN GOLF Introduces the TC-510FG Irons -- Another Generation of Forged Irons

    IRVINE, CA, December 02, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- FOURTEEN GOLF, recognized as a worldwide leader in wedge design and a known favorite amongst top touring golf professionals, announced today the company is introducing an easy to hit, very forgiving, forged set of irons, the TC-510FG Irons.

The FOURTEEN GOLF engineering team set out to develop a set of forged irons that provide the average mid-handicap golfer the same pure feel of a forged iron but with greater playability. They were elated with the results of the TC-510FG Irons.

Company testing proved that the TC-510FG Irons can launch the ball easier than its predecessor the TC-550FG Irons. The new iron head features a wide sole design with a low deeply positioned CG and from the 4 iron to the 7 iron, an under cut shape widens the sweet spot so that slight miss hits will still have a high and stable launch towards the target. This combination allows golfers an opportunity to now hit the ball successfully off of any lie.

The CG distance has been modified from the TC-550FG II Irons and the TC-510FG Irons. The design team added more weight on the heel and bottom of the club to control the CG height.

These traditionally styled irons are manufactured with a super soft (S25C) alloy. This exceptional material provides the sensational feel associated with forged irons but also allowed for the engineers to incorporate some critical modifications such as the same "CG Distance Design Setting".

According to FOURTEEN GOLF COO Marcy Kamoda, "Same 'CG Distance Design Setting' refers to the precisely positioned CG. It adjusts within the difference of 1mm. This ensures consistency with every iron. These adjustments also allow players to execute solid shots with longer irons and avoid major pulls with the shorter irons."

The TC-510FG forged iron club head is designed so that any golfer can simply and comfortably play these soft alloy type irons. They are available in a nickel chrome satin finish with a mirror finish back face. The set comes in a #4 Iron through a PW. To suit your swing type, the TC-510FG Irons are available in two types of shafts, a N.S. Pro 950GH steel shaft in (R or S) or MD-370gi graphite shaft in (R or S).
