TENBY, WALES, December 18, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- People visiting one of the hotels Tenby has to offer may like to take part in a New Year's Day Treasure Hunt on January 1st 2011.
Organised by the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, the event offers holidaymakers a chance to freshen up after a night of celebrations by solving clues in search of special prizes.
Starting at 11:00 GMT, the Treasure Hunt is based around one of the national park's most popular visitor attractions at Castell Henllys.
This Iron Age hill fort is an important archaeological site in south Wales and has been the subject of an ongoing excavation project for many years, with hour historic roundhouses reconstructed on their original foundations.
The Treasure Hunt is priced at GBP1 per sheet and prizes are available for everyone who completes the task.
Participants are advised to take waterproof clothes and appropriate footwear with them.
One of three national parks in Wales, the Pembrokeshire Coast is known for its spectacular, rugged cliffs and sandy beaches, as well as the wooded hills inland.
It covers an area of just over 240 square miles and is a popular spot among holidaymakers spending time in Tenby.
