Gilbert has emerged from the national comedy circuit to become a leading performer over the last 18 months, cementing his reputation with slots on Live at the Apollo and Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow.

Named comic of the year by Time Out in 2008, the 42-year-old is known for his energetic style and furious rants about seemingly trivial subjects.

He has made memorable appearances on panel shows such as Mock the Week and Never Mind the Buzzcocks, as well as launching his own BBC1 programme Ask Rhod Gilbert in September this year.

Tickets for the Cornwall show are priced at GBP20 plus booking fee.
