He left acting behind in 2009 to sign a contract with Young Money Entertainment, the record label founded by Lil Wayne.

After generating a buzz with several mixtape releases, the release of Thank Me Later saw Drake confirm his status as one of the hottest new stars in music.

The album, which has now been certified platinum, features collaborations with Alicia Keys, Nicki Minaj, Jay-Z, Kanye West and Lil Wayne.

Tickets for Drake's Berlin performance are available from GBP48. Support will be provided by rising rap star J Cole, who is signed to the Roc Nation label run by Jay-Z.
