MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA, January 11, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Children and the young at heart will be sure to enjoy the Chongqing Acrobatic Art Troupe of China's production of Mulan in Melbourne.
The performers will tell the classic tale through acrobatics, dances and detailed set design in what promises to be an occasion that is perfect for all ages.
As such, the shows - which take place from February 3rd to 5th 2011 - are likely to prove popular with families staying in Melbourne hotels.
Some 35 performers will take to the stage each night, in front of last minute accommodation customers and other ticketholders, with the youngest member of the cast aged just 12.
The team behind this adaptation have divided Mulan into five acts, each of which is designed as a platform for the acrobats to show off their unique physical skills.
Cheap accommodation Melbourne guests are sure to be wowed by The Festival, featuring balancing and foot juggling, while The Triumph involves a series of gravity-defying stunts to the sound of roaring drums.
Tickets are available from A$69.90 per person, with the shows taking place at the State Theatre.
Other upcoming productions at the venue include The Boy From Oz, a musical celebration of the life of songwriter and entertainer Peter Allen, which runs from February 9th to 13th.
