YORKSHIRE, ENGLAND, January 20, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- A new video sweeping the Internet poses the question: Can your shed withstand a barrage of footballs being kicked at it? This is something which the parents of football-mad children, will know only too well.
England, Leeds, and Manchester United footballer, Lee Sharpe, got together with ex-Manchester City player Greg Thompson and Tiger Sheds to prove a point; not all garden sheds are created equally. One shed was destroyed in minutes under the barrage of spot kicks whilst the other remained standing.
The footballers gave their support to the video to raise money for the Lee Sharpe Foundation, which gives under-privileged children in Africa access to sport.
In its first two days online, the YouTube video has already had over 1,000 views. There is an outtakes video and a longer full version of the test on the Tiger Sheds website, revealing which shed was the one left standing.
Tiger Sheds are also using the video to promote a competition whereby you can win a brand new Tiger Shed. To enter, all you have to do is post a response video to YouTube, and submit the link on the competition page. The response has to show you taking a damaging shot at your old shed.
Tiger Sheds manager, Jack Sutcliffe, said: "We wanted to show that a shed has to be durable, not only does it have to withstand the elements but other things like damage inflicted by a football."
Jack added "We had great fun making the video with Lee and Greg, who donated their fee to Lee's charity."
