STC Micro Release Cost-Effective High Performance 1T 8051 Microcontroller

With the enhanced kernel, STC12C5A60S2 executes instructions in 1 to 6 clock cycles (about 6-8 times of the rate of a conventional 8051 device), and has a fully compatible instruction set with industrial standard 80C51 series microcontrollers. In-System-Programming (ISP) and In-Application-Programming (IAP) enables the users to upgrade the program by a programmer or by the firmware itself. The STC12C5A60S2 regains all features of standard 80C51. In addition, the STC12C5A60S2 has 2 extra I/O ports (P4 and P5), a 10-sources, 4 priority-level interrupt structure, 10-bit AD, 2-3 UARTs, SPI(Slave/Master), on-chip oscillator, 2-channel PCA/PWM/DAC, a one-time enabled WDT.

The STC12C5A60S2 operate at 3.5-5.5V, while the low voltage version operate at 2.1-3.6V. The max working frequency is 35MHz. It has 60KB flash memory, 1280 Bytes data RAM, 1024 Bytes EEPROM. The number of I/O pins is up to 44 (LQFP-48). There are DIP-40, PLCC-44, LQFP-44, LQFP-48 and QFN-40 packages for STC12C5A60S2.
