BAVARIA, GERMANY, February 25, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Beck Energy GmbH, S&F Umwelttechnik GmbH and Blitzstrom GmbH are changing their names to BELECTRIC. From now on, the companies of the Photovoltaic Center of Excellence in Kolitzheim will act under a joint umbrella brand, thus opening up new opportunities with a focus on the international market.
"With the new brand we are setting a signal to emphasise what we have already been experiencing internally for years: We are BELECTRIC. From now on, we will communicate and act under this uniform brand." To Bernhard Beck, the CEO of BELECTRIC, the change of name of the companies into BELECTRIC is a logical step resulting from the trends over the last few years. "We have become established on the increasingly important international markets." Branches in 15 countries worldwide, among others in Spain, Italy, U.S.A., the United Arab Emirates and India, are already known under the BELECTRIC brand.
Beck Energy GmbH, with 269 megawatts last year's global market leader for ground-based solar power plants, is changing its name into BELECTRIC Solarkraftwerke GmbH. S&F Umwelttechnik GmbH, one of the leading German companies in the field of pv roof systems with more than 2,600 roof systems installed, will appear under BELECTRIC PV-Dachsysteme GmbH. Blitzstrom GmbH, dealing in system components on an international scale, will operate under the name BELECTRIC Trading GmbH.
Few other market players can supply as wide a product portfolio: BELECTRIC's products range from private photovoltaic roof systems to free-field solar power plants and have been developed since 2001. Any and all steps on the way to a turn-key photovoltaic system are handled by in-house project and installation teams. "The well-known quality of our photovoltaic systems, the service-friendliness as well as the customer-oriented cooperation with our partners will continue to be essential features of our corporate philosophy," explains Martin Zembsch, the CFO of BELECTRIC.
BELECTRIC will continue its interdisciplinary research in all relevant fields of solar technology. "Electricity from the sun is one of the energy sources of the future. We want to contribute substantially to making solar electricity a marketable alternative to fossile energy carriers," says Bernhard Beck. "We continuously develop and refine our products and are always looking for new solutions."
Special roofings for large car parks or photovoltaic greenhouses are two examples for innovation. As a pioneer, BELECTRIC is also taking root in the field of e-mobility. Last year a flexible and cost-efficient charging infrastructure was developed which allows energy suppliers and grid operators a controlled charging and discharging of electric vehicles.
BELECTRIC designs, develops and constructs photovoltaic systems (free-field & roof-mounted systems, PV Car parks, PV Greenhouses) worldwide. According to an official market analysis, BELECTRIC has been market leader in planning and realizing free-field solar power plants since 2010.
