ATLANTA, GA, February 25, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Shred-Green, an Atlanta shredding service, will be participating in a community recycling event at Rock Springs Park on Saturday, February 26. The event is being held in conjunction with Gwinnett County Parks & Recreation and Atlanta Recycling Solutions.
This public event will offer a variety of recycling opportunities. Atlanta Recycling Solutions will be providing free electronics recycling, and will also accept televisions to be recycled for $10 each. Shred-Green will be present with their mobile shredding truck, offering their Atlanta paper shredding services for $5 per box. Not only will the event give Gwinnett residents an opportunity to clear out their file cabinets, but all shreds from the event will be recycled. In addition, Shred-Green will be donating all proceeds from the event to Volunteer In Parks, the Gwinnett County Parks & Recreation volunteer organization.
The event will include recycling-themed activities for the entire family. Children will have the opportunity to make crafts out of aluminum cans, plastic bottles, and other recycled materials.

Gwinnett County Recycling Day will take place from 9am-12pm on Saturday, February 26, and is free and open to the public. The event will be held at Rock Springs Park, 550 Rock Springs Road, Lawrenceville. All Gwinnett County residents are encouraged to come out and enjoy this day of recycling and fun activities.
