On the first of March, the phone rings and I hear "Bob, it's Karl Bessey here. I just wanted to let you know that you have been chosen 'WMI Consultant of the Month.'"

My initial thought was "Wow... me? But there are so many more deserving people!"

Let me say that I am completely humbled and honored to receive this call from Karl.

I am so grateful that I found Wealth Masters International (Kip and Karl's Dream) through the three points of Wealth, Health and Wisdom that have completely salvaged my life.

I ran several businesses over the years and in January of 2000, I made a mistake and fell 40 feet from a roof while working on a data satellite. This fall took away my ability to work in the field and the end of my company was in plain sight. I was looking for something to replace my income and I was still searching when the recession we are now in took a hold of my life. In a two-month period, my net worth of 1.5 million dollars was GONE.

Now what do I do? I'm still not walking well, 8+ years and 12 prosthetic legs later and my now savings were gone. I felt broken and lost...this 30-year self-employed hard nose was now living in fear.

There are some things in life you have to be completely grateful for. For me that would be my wife Paula, because without her unwavering belief and support in me, I would not have had the courage to continue on to find Wealth Masters International.

If it were not for the true insight of Kip and Karl, spreading the knowledge of Wealth, Health and Wisdom to live a complete and abundant life, I do not think my story would be available to help others today.

I am most grateful to Wealth Masters International because the community stands up and represents integrity.

My health has now completely turned around and I've lost almost 100 pounds. I'm now walking on my 15th leg almost effortlessly and exercising daily for 2 hours in the gym, and I attend yoga twice a week since meeting another member at an m2 Conference where she showed me that YES I can do this. An Invincible Entrepreneurial Spirit Leads to Financial Gain

Despite losing his life's earnings in 2008 due to the recession, Bob Chappell's entrepreneurial mindset helped him climb out of a financial disaster and put him on his way to true wealth.

With wisdom comes health. With health comes wealth. For Robert Bob Chappell, an entrepreneur for over thirty years, this spin on an old turn of phrase is a mantra for his new life. Few could understand the true motivation behind his mantra as much as Bob, an above-the-knee amputee who knows a lot about physical anguish, not to mention the power of mental fortitude. Yet his condition hasn't slowed him down; in fact, it makes his goal of helping people understand how to empower themselves that much clearer.

"Self-reliance is a powerful mechanism," Bob says. In his thirty years of owning several businesses, Bob saw ups and downs that would send many individuals back to the cubicle life in corporate America. But not Bob. Instilled with entrepreneurial roots at a young age by his father, Bob learned early on that the "task in hand is your only boss" and "success is a decision." Through his gas and electric company, as well as ventures into real estate and stocks, Bob built a $1.5 million nest egg for his wife and two children.

By the time the recession hit in early fall, 2008, however, being involved in gas services, real estate, and the stock market turned out to be a recipe for financial disaster. "The recession took my life's earnings and torched it," Bob explains.

Yet despite his new money situation, Bob's ambition and determination persevered. "The entrepreneurial spirit cannot be killed."

Fed up with the traditional business models and physically limited by his condition, Bob went to the Internet. Initially, he experienced the pitfalls of referral marketing and direct selling. "That taught me what an MLM was," Bob reflects, "That taught me what an MLM can do to you." After 400 phone calls on his weekend, Bob was left looking for something else.

That "something else" was an online, home-based business that provided unparalleled financial education, as well as a platform for Bob's true passion--helping others understand his or her potential. Bob swears by the financial education and networking available through his home-based business, which he aptly named Home Based Company, LLC.

"There is absolutely nothing wrong with people wanting to work from home," he says. By naming his company Home Based Company, Bob says he remains truthful to his associates, colleagues, and anyone wishing to work with him. "I believe in this honesty: 'The truth will set you free,'" Bob says. "That is absolute power."

As for the support he receives, Bob says the training includes mentorships with some of the most seasoned, successful minds in the industry. "The financial training we receive is... I've never seen anything like. I don't think there is anything like it in the world."

Since starting Home Based Company just over a year ago, Bob is on his way to rebuilding what he had lost in the Great Recession. He insists that just like any business that closes and starts up again, there is a slow build. But it's not all about the money for Bob.

"Most importantly," he stresses, "I'm not living in fear. A lot of people are living in fear [because they] can't see what's up ahead. I can see the road ahead. And it's clear."
