BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA, March 05, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Seekae have announced dates for their Australian tour and will play in Brisbane on April 15th.
The band use electronica influences to create a modern feel that has been honed since their debut album The Sound of Trees Falling on People.
On March 25th they will release the follow-up record +Dome, with hits from both albums likely to be played during their Brisbane gig.
The trio are influenced by various genres, including rave, dubstep and house.
Seekae are signed to Sydney's Rice is Nice label and the record company explains the three-piece have had much success since their debut album was launched in December 2008.
They won the Australian Council for the Arts Soundclash grant, which assisted previous touring efforts and laying down tracks.
As well as producing their own music, the band's remixes of old hits have been popular with fans.
The limited-edition Seekae Remix EP includes reworks of tracks from the likes of Ghoul, Bearhug, Parades and Megastick Fanfare.
Past appearances have sold out quickly, so fans might be wise to purchase tickets early at a total cost of AU$18.20 each, including booking fees. The performance is due to start at 21:00 local time.
