VANCOUVER, BC, March 09, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- InTime Solutions is pleased to announce that it has signed a multi-year contract with the Integrated Law and Justice Agency for Orange County (ILJAOC) to enhance the basic electronic staff scheduling application (ISE) to include County-wide Court Appearance Scheduling for law enforcement personnel, and the integration of the overall Subpoena Management function within ISE. Prior to the new contractual Agreement, the Electronic Subpoena System in the County performed as a stand-alone system that was interfaced with the District Attorney's Office. In 2009, InTime completed its County-wide implementation of ISE, its next generation staff scheduling system and the positive feedback from all member agencies led the ILJAOC to investigate the possibility of doing more with InTime.
The initial project included an integrated witness unavailability component that allowed the District Attorney's Office to look at the availability of law enforcement personnel during a designated period, prior to issuing subpoenas. However, the ILJAOC wanted to take the project to the next level and implement an end-to-end subpoena solution, from delivery to call-off, that was fully integrated within the Scheduling System and would populate it with Subpoena related appearances that affected deployment levels. The objective being sought is the potential for a reduction in paid overtime for on-call time, along with improved subpoena management.
"The ability to inform officers instantly via SMS text messaging if a court date has been continued or dispositioned, will have the potential to save Member Agencies significant time and money," notes Bob McDonell, Executive Director of the ILJAOC. The contract covers a five year term and will include the roll out of additional modules to the existing County wide system already in place, including ISE Overtime & Leave Management, Training and Asset Modules, and a Payroll Interface. The contract also includes system-wide hosting to include a second, geographically separate fail-over site, and disaster recovery.
