HUA HIN, THAILAND, March 19, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Pupils from the Silpakorn Summer Music School (SSMS) will show off their newly-acquired skills at two concerts in Hua Hin next month.
Hikotaro Yazaki, the famous Japanese conductor, has been lined up to lead the performances.
Yazaki's prestigious career began in 1970 when he was appointed as apprentice conductor for the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra. Since then he has gone on to work with numerous high-profile European groups, including the Opera de Paris and Orchestre de Lyon.
The SSMS's Hua Hin shows are scheduled to take place on April 6th and 9th 2011 at the Dusit Thani Hotel.
They will feature renditions of Piano Concerto in A Major by Mozart and Gustav Mahler's Symphony Number One in D Major, as well as a new piece created by the winner of the 2011 SSMS composition competition.
Following the Hua Hin dates, a final performance will be held at Bangkok's Mahisorn Auditorium on April 10th.
