PERTH, AUSTRALIA, April 02, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- One of William Shakespeare's most beloved comedies, A Midsummer Night's Dream, opens in Perth in the coming weeks.
The classic tale of love, magic and mischief follows the story of Hermia and Lysander, who flee into the woods to protect their relationship.
They find themselves trapped in the middle of a dispute between the King and Queen of the Fairies, while a group of amateur actors also get caught up after visiting the forest to rehearse their latest play.
James Beck, Elizabeth Blackmore and Benj D'Addario are among the cast for the Black Swan State Theatre Company's production, which runs in Perth from May 7th to 22nd 2011.
The actors will take the stage at the State Theatre Centre of Western Australia's Heath Ledger Theatre.
Performances are scheduled for 19:30 local time, apart from the final night when it starts at 17:00. Matinees will also be held on May 14th, 18th and 21st.
Tickets are priced at AU$64.50, although a concessionary rate of AU$49.50 is also available. A family package allowing admission for two adults and two children or students costs AU$144.
